Non-Western History
This course explores the history of non-western cultures and societies. Each unit will focus on a region of Africa or Asia, uncovering the history, geography, culture and social interactions within that area. In some cases units will begin with the pre-history of the specified civilization and continue to the modern period. This is an honors course with a weighted credit. Due to the course’s inclusion as an honors course, it should be understood that Non-Western History will be more strenuous than a regular history course.
